Turning your horse's hair into beautiful jewelry
You don't have to ruin your horse's beautiful tail to create custom jewelry. Use this technique to remove a lock of hair that you won't even notice missing.
Cut the hair underneath the tail, as close to the base as possible.
You will need to gather a bundle of hair with the desired width for the jewelry. Most bracelets require a bundle of hair approximately an inch thick.
The length you will need depends on the length of the jewelry you would like. Allow an extra 2 inches (approximately) to account for shortening when braiding or adding clasps.
